This is a website about the Douglas Family who settled in a little community in South Georgia near the headwaters of the Okefenokee Swamp. (The background picture is the courtesy of Nell Easterling Bowen, granddaughter of Henry and Polly Ann Douglas.) This photo was taken on the wedding day of  James Henry Douglas and Maude Strickland on December 11, 1909.
